by

The New Orleans Museum of Art marks the Tricentennial with exhibitions celebrating some of NOLA’s defining elements.

NOMA showcases highlights from:

– “Bror Anders Wikstrom: Bringing Fantasy to Carnival,” features the designer’s Mardi Gras float and costume designs, on view December 22, 2017-April 29, 2018.

– “Changing Course: Reflecting on New Orleans Histories” brings together contemporary art that focuses on forgotten, marginalized histories of the city, on view June 21-September 16, 2018.

– “The Orléans Collection” features selections from the magnificent collection of the city’s namesake, Philippe II, Duke of Orléans, on view October 26, 2018-January 27, 2019.
