WWL Welcomes its Newest Anchor

Kristin Pierce joined the WWL-TV team as a weekend anchor this year, but she’s no rookie when it comes to broadcasting and reporting.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Kristin worked both in front of and behind the camera before moving to New Orleans. In Detroit, she covered national news stories as the country watched the Flint water crisis unfold. She also worked as an associate producer in Michigan and Ohio.

Since her arrival, Kristin has immersed herself in New Orleans culture, weather (she loves the sun!) and restaurants. She’ll be a New Orleans “native” before we know it.
