I recently rediscovered George Land’s “Grow or Die: the Unifying Principle of Transformation.” This 1973 book has become a cornerstone in planning and organizational change.

On its most basic level, we are tasked with dealing with change rather than fighting it. In today’s velocity of information overload, news in nano seconds and staggering new technologies, it is critical for businesses to look at things a new way.

In my case, I turn to my millennial staff and to colleagues in other industries and other geographies. My challenge is to embrace change so I that can grow both personally and professionally.
