As Mardi Gras approaches, local businesses are preparing for the busiest time of year. GOPARK CEO Herb Anderson said 20% of his company’s sales happen during the month of Mardi Gras.

Mardi madness isn’t new to Café Beignet. Business development director Miles Stevens said the cafe, which has been in New Orleans since 1990, welcomes the influx of visitors and celebrations.

Businesses like Nolé, located along the St. Charles parade route, will experience Mardi Gras for the first time this year. Allison Donnelly said team members have spent months preparing for Carnival season, and they’re excited to expose their brand.
