by The 100 Companies

Earlier this month, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana announced its 2026 Trade Mission to El Salvador and Honduras, which took place March 8-13, departing from New Orleans.

The mission focused on strengthening economic ties by showcasing Louisiana’s port system and its role as the “Gateway to North America.” Leaders, including Dr. Jenny Mains, Dr. Claudia Medina and Marvin Saborio, underscored the importance of deepening regional collaboration.

Delegates from Gulf Coast Bank & Trust, Ochsner Health, Louisiana Economic Development and the University of New Orleans participated in high-level meetings across finance, health care, education and infrastructure to expand international partnerships.
