I always wanted to be a teacher, so it was no surprise that my first job was in education. After 15 years of teaching literature to eighth-grade girls at the Academy of the Sacred Heart, my career transitioned to public relations. It was a natural flow, applying the skills I had honed in academia to a new profession.
