The Jefferson Chamber Foundation is investing in the next generation of civic leaders by supporting the Regional National Civics Bee, a statewide initiative that encourages middle school students to engage with civics and community problem-solving.
Open to students in grades 6-8, the program challenges participants to submit essays proposing solutions to issues in their communities, with top students advancing to live regional, state and national competitions.
By hosting the regional bee, the Jefferson Chamber Foundation is helping foster civic literacy, critical thinking and leadership skills among Louisiana’s young changemakers.
