When you donate blood, you save lives. No one knows that better than someone who’s battling or has beaten cancer. Just in the past 12 months, Ochsner has provided personalized, state-of-the-art care to over 15,000 people battling the disease.
You can support the cancer patients, organ transplant recipients and trauma victims Ochsner treats on a daily basis by donating blood. Gulf Coast Bank is hosting a blood drive September 14, 8 a.m.–2 p.m., at the Veterans branch to support Ochsner’s blood bank.
