Besides my parents, my role models are Lindy Boggs, former U.S. Congresswoman and Ambassador to the Vatican, and Sr. Shirley Miller, former headmistress at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. These represent smart, compassionate and visionary women, never too busy to listen.
Next week the YLC will recognize its 2017 Role Models – men and women who have made a difference and led the way to making our city greater. The occasion is a reminder that one of the most precious gifts is time. Make time to give of yourself and share your life path to guide others to greatness.
