Hurricane Ida FEMA aid

Whether you are a property owner, renter, business or household, you may be eligible for disaster assistance from FEMA or SBA due to Hurricane Ida. Assistance from FEMA includes sheltering, reimbursement for hotels and generators, future lodging support and other opportunities.

First, you need to register for FEMA assistance. The fastest way to apply is through DisasterAssistance.gov. You can also call 1-800-621-3362 (TTY 1-800-462-7585) or via the FEMA mobile app.

Once registered with FEMA, you will automatically be referred to SBA where low-interest loans are available. You will also receive a notification letter from FEMA with your next steps.
