In 2020, the CDC reported that approximately one in 54 students is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

This year, Touchstone ABA, a premier Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider, announced plans to partner with St. Michael Special School to provide behavioral therapy to their students with ASD and related disabilities. St. Michael Special School educates students of all grades with developmental and learning disabilities across eight Louisiana parishes.

“Having Touchstone ABA on campus has already made an incredible difference helping our students of all ages,” said Dr. Elizabeth “Cissy” Cerise LaForge, Head of School at St. Michael Special School.
