I have traveled lots lately, and that means time. There is time online identifying the best fares and schedules; time packing just the right outfits and hoping my bag is weight compliant; time organizing my office responsibilities (why are we always the most productive before leaving on a trip?); time getting the house in order; time navigating TSA; time rushing or waiting for the aircraft and luggage; and so on.
Lately, I have traveled for professional development, client interaction, a health checkup, grandchildren and for fun. Is time away worth the hassle? Consider time spent vs. benefits earned, then decide.
