BioScrip’s hero employee saves patient’s life in parking lot

On a Tuesday evening, BioScrip team member Courtney Johnson and her colleague left work at Ochsner Baton Rouge after a late shift. As they crossed the parking lot, they came across an unconscious woman who had overdosed.

Quickly, Courtney sprang into action, running code blue and beginning immediate resuscitation as her colleague ran back inside Ochsner to get help from the emergency room. Fortunately, thanks to their quick instincts and heroic actions, Courtney and her colleague saved the woman’s life.
