The 250th anniversary of American independence offers an opportunity to reflect on the people, places and events that shaped the nation’s founding. The Historic New Orleans Collection invites visitors to explore that story through its “American Revolution: The Augmented Exhibition,” open through January 2027.
Using immersive augmented reality technology, the free exhibition transports visitors into 20 defining moments of the nation’s founding. It highlights not only events in the original colonies but also the critical role of the Gulf South, including Louisiana’s contributions to the fight for independence.
