The music of New Orleans is a gift to the world. Opera, jazz, R&B and funk all made their way into our country’s musical canon through New Orleans. A product of a blending of diverse cultures, this music is a model for our country. In this 250th year of the United States, the Ignatian Volunteer Corps of New Orleans presents a concert celebrating this precious gift.
Harmony & Hope: The Music of New Orleans, Inspiring the Nation presents local musicians performing music born of the immigrant experience and shaped by the melding of beautiful differences, presented to be appreciated and loved.
Mark your calendar and check the IVC website for ticket availability in late August.
