‘Come From Away’ celebrates the power of community and kindness

Jefferson Performing Arts presents “Come From Away” at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center from Sept. 11-20. Based on the remarkable true story of 7,000 passengers stranded in a small Newfoundland town following the events of Sept. 11, the Tony Award-winning musical celebrates the extraordinary kindness of ordinary people.

With an energetic score, unforgettable characters and a powerful message of community and compassion, “Come From Away” is a moving and uplifting theatrical experience that reminds us of the good we can find in one another. Experience this inspiring musical live onstage beginning Sept. 11. Tickets are on sale now at JPAS.org.
