Harmony & Hope returns, bringing music and service together

by Katem

The Harmony & Hope concert series began as a fundraising and friend-raising event for the Ignatian Volunteer Corps of New Orleans, combining the city’s extraordinary musical talent with service values rooted in the Jesuit tradition.

Last fall’s inaugural concert earned enthusiastic reviews. Keith Plessy and Phoebe Ferguson, descendants of Plessy v. Ferguson, captured its spirit: “We left inspired, uplifted and energized to go out and continue our work.” Its success inspired IVC to make the concert an annual event.

This year’s Harmony & Hope will take place Sunday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. at Jesuit High School Auditorium. Advance tickets are $50.
