Enough of 2020. Seven has taken its place for me – at least for now.
In the Bible, seven is a “perfect” number tied directly to God’s creation. Similarly, it is interpreted as “heaven” or lucky because in ancient times seven planets were the only orbs visible. But for me, $77 is my round trip airfare from New Orleans to Philadelphia to visit my twin grandsons who, coincidentally, will be 14 (7 x 2) years old this month.
$77 – really? Not the typical $700? Maybe there is something to lucky number seven. An unexpected, simple joy to end a crazy 2020.
