April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. Archbishop Checchio recently thanked Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) members, saying, “You’re sharing your talents and gifts with those who need them is certainly a bright light in our archdiocese.”
IVC invites men and women age 50+ to share their talents through meaningful weekly service with nonprofit partners that are serving people experiencing poverty. Members volunteer eight or 16 hours weekly and gather monthly for spiritual growth in the Ignatian tradition.
We are recruiting for the 2026-2027 program year – see ivcusa.org/neworleans or call 504-264-3438. Don’t miss this chance to share your experience in good work.
