Greening NOLA Campus Move Out is an initiative in collaboration with STEM Library Lab’s Teacher Free-Store, Tulane’s Office of Sustainability, TU’s Trash to Treasure and Loyola University to divert the thousands of pounds of valuable discarded items produced every year by students vacating their residence halls.
We have over 20 community partners signed on to accept the diverse categories of donations, benefitting underfunded and disenfranchised groups like teachers, women and children’s shelters, recovery houses, food banks, seniors, the unhoused and animal shelters.
We need volunteer teams! You will intercept, collect, sort and distribute goods to community partners. Learn more here.
