New Orleans & Company was honored to serve as host to the United States Military for Sail 250 New Orleans, the first of five cities to welcome this maritime event for our nation’s celebration of America 250. It gave us an unprecedented opportunity to tell the story of the role the Mississippi River has played in our nation’s history.
As America approaches its 250th birthday, New Orleans stands as a reminder of what has made this country exceptional – our openness, ability to blend cultures and belief that commerce, creativity, freedom and opportunity can flow together like the waters of the Mississippi River.
