We recently celebrated our 50th high school reunion. You would think that with a graduating class of 23, this would have been “easy peasy” to organize. Nope.
Our self-appointed committee of three’s plan was to identify a location, design a nostalgic invitation, get the contact list from school, post it on Facebook and that would be that. Well, the school had no list, and apparently, only six of us are on Facebook.
Word-of-mouth saved the day, and even some 1969 classmates who graduated elsewhere joined our celebratory dinner at Brennan’s. Such fun! Thank goodness for nametags.
