Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union prides itself on giving back to communities it serves, but those philanthropic events are just a little sweeter when they result in a trophy.
The Credit Union’s unofficial bowling team, Lanes of Credit, three-peated victory at the annual Drew’s Tunes Bowl-A-Thon Saturday. Mortgage underwriter Zach Vandergriff was the team’s top scorer with 163.
Drew’s Tunes celebrates the life of Drew Joseph Boswell, who died at 15 months old, by providing musical instruments and access to mentor musicians for New Orleans-area children. Funds go to sudden unexplained death in childhood (SUDC) research.
