NOLA River Fest returns to celebrate, preserve Mississippi River heritage

by The 100 Companies

The 10th Annual New Orleans River Fest returns Saturday, July 23 to the New Orleans Jazz Museum.

The all-day festival uses entertainment and education as a call to action for all involved to  be conscious, deliberate participants in the future of the Mississippi River community.  Guests will enjoy musical performances, local cuisine, educational panels, walking tours, guest lectures and children’s activities.

A collaborative effort from environmental, educational and cultural institutions – including RESTORE The Mississippi River Delta, Louisiana Seafood Board, National Wildlife Federation, Tulane University and the Water Collaborative of New Orleans – the event is free and open to the public.
