Beignet Fest returns Saturday, Sept. 24 to New Orleans City Park to celebrate the iconic beignet. From traditional sweet to savory options featuring seafood, cheese and more, Beignet Fest is extra sweet because proceeds benefit autism programs for children.
Through their journey with their son, founders Amy and Sherwood Collins discovered that New Orleans is lacking in opportunities for children on the spectrum. For them, this was the main driver behind starting the festival.
Gambel Communications works to promote the fest and the cause, helping to grow Beignet Fest into a premier event that draws people from all over the region.
