Heart N Hands puts heart health prevention at the center of childhood. Founded by survivor Essence Harris Banks, the nonprofit empowers girls with knowledge and tools to make healthier choices early.
Through its Love Your Heart Wellness Program, Heart N Hands brings heart-health education, movement, nutrition and Hands-Only CPR awareness into schools and communities. To date, the organization has reached more than 8,500 girls and families and trained 500 girls in CPR.
The 2026 Love Your Heart Gala on Sept. 12 at The Ritz-Carlton fuels this mission, helping create healthier futures – one girl, one family, one heart at a time.
