This September, the Krewe of ALLA brings “Sunday on the Point” to Algiers Point, a new riverfront celebration of community, culture and football.
Set for Sept. 13, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m., near the Algiers Ferry Terminal, the inaugural event coincides with a Saints away game and will feature a large outdoor screen, local vendors, food and drinks.
Krewe of ALLA President Dr. Stanton McNeely said the event is about “bringing people together, on the West Bank and from across the river, to enjoy the energy of the Saints.” The Algiers Economic Development Foundation is also supporting the event.
