Global Cuisine e-cookbook celebrates Tricentennial

In the Kitchen cookbook

The global roots for New Orleans cuisine are as diverse as the city itself. In our newest e-cookbook, we celebrate the food influences created from Native Americans, settlers and immigrants.

The Global Cuisine cookbook is part of a series celebrating WWL-TV’s 60th anniversary and New Orleans’ Tricentennial. Before cable cooking shows, Eyewitness Morning News brought Frank Davis and local recipes to viewers. Kevin Belton now continues the tradition.

Kevin and Frank’s recipes are featured along with historical context from the Southern Food and Beverage Museum. Tabasco, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary, also contributed delicious recipes.
