For Lent, our chefs at WWL-TV are given the opportunity to be even more creative. The latest 360 cookbook focuses on seafood and meat-free dishes.
While this aspect of the season is considered Catholic, many non-Catholics abstain from meat. This decision has let chefs of all levels turn the bounty of the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Pontchartrain into dishes that contribute to our culinary history.
What better way to commemorate 300 years of life in the city we love than by celebrating the thing that truly unites us all: food. Check out our Lenten recipes here.
