Growing Pains: How We Transformed Congestion into Creativity

by

In November 2015, Gambel Communications opened its Northshore office. While we were resolute in retaining our Metairie office, ten women in 1,000 square feet is a bit cozy. Even though we are rarely here at the same time, the constant phone calls and chatter left little “think” time. We needed at least occasional access to peace and quiet.

Thus were born Northshore Serenity Days. Rotating through the Mandeville office on Lake Pontchartrain, staff find solitude, which, according to many experts, is the number one habit of highly creative people. Picasso believed, “Without great solitude no serious work is possible.”
