CBS Primetime Summer Series Debuts on WWL-TV, Channel 4

“Salvation,” a new suspense thriller from CBS, is set to premiere on July 12 at 8PM on WWL-TV.

The series centers on the discovery that an enormous asteroid is just months away from colliding with Earth. A MIT grad student and tech billionaire team up to save the world. The billionaire also recruits an aspiring sci-fi writer, Jillian, to work on a theoretical approach to saving humanity — a project that might prove to be all too real. Meanwhile, the Deputy Secretary of Defense has been tasked with running the government’s own top-secret plan to deflect the asteroid.
