Confession: I’m not a huge football fan; yet, recently, I have found myself caught in the excitement that a winning Saints team brings. Furthermore, Clemson, my son’s alma mater, will play in NOLA’s Sugar Bowl. My otherwise sports-free world has been turned upside down as I search for the appropriate football accessories.
My renewed football fever is the attitude of most New Orleanians. We’re a city of loyalty and passion, always proud of our city. We’re no longer the “Aints” in any sense of the word, and it’s our “joie de vivre” that we carry into our 2018 Tricentennial.
