* … no offense to Cleveland!
What an exciting time to be a New Orleanian! On the heels of our 2018 Tricentennial, we are experiencing the convergence of Mardi Gras and our amazing Saints.
While the black and gold tragically missed a Super Bowl berth, they engendered a camaraderie among New Orleanians that is unrivaled, except perhaps by the conviviality Mardi Gras inspires. We are a city of resilience. Whether Hurricane Katrina or the NFL referees’ “no call,” New Orleans’ spirit is indomitable.
As Tennessee Williams said, “America has only three cities: New York, San Francisco and New Orleans. Everywhere else is Cleveland.”
Bless you, Boys.
