Kristi Givens, executive director of Kids of Excellence and co-founder of For Providers by Providers, saw the importance of early childhood education in her community and the lack of access often available when she was a young mother.

Determined to create a better path for the children and families in her community, Givens works hard every day to make that goal a reality.

All children, regardless of socioeconomic level, should have access to quality childcare because the well-being and education of children are fundamental to a healthy society.

Childcare is not about one provider or one child, it’s about community.
