The Morning Newscast Emmy was awarded to Angela Vance, producer, and Ed Merritt, director, for “Moments after the Bourbon Street Attack.” The Evening Newscast (10 p.m.) honor went to Torre Josey, producer, and Madeline Cerna, director, for compelling, impactful coverage.
The News Special Emmy for “Losing Faith: Preying from the Pulpit” recognized the powerful reporting of David Hammer and Ramon Vargas, alongside the exceptional photography of Thomas Pipitone.
