What’s on your 2018 bucket list? Did road tripping make the cut?
In 2017 not only did road trips increase in popularity, but RV travel also did. More than 31 million people posted about road trips by September 2017, and the percentage of road trips taken by Americans rose from 22% to 33% from 2016–2017. RV travel similarly increased with Air Stream sales, increasing 33% annually for the past six years.
Driving is making a comeback. Thanks to enhanced technology like Google Maps and improved GPS systems, everyone from retiring baby boomers to millennial festival-goers can road trip.
