Identifying a company’s milestones is a timely opportunity to reflect on one’s brand. We are proud of Gambel’s upcoming 8th anniversary, and want to congratulate Le Petit Theatre on its centennial and The Historic New Orleans Collection on its 50th anniversary.
Le Petit celebrates with “Jelly’s Last Jam,” the life of jazz great Jelly Roll Morton, through February 12, and The Historic New Orleans Collection recently published its third jazz biography, “Life in Jazz” by Danny Barker. Interestingly, in 1988 the Dukes of Dixieland performed with Danny Barker at Mahogany Hall for the PBS special “Salute to Jelly Roll Morton.”
