What Ever Happened to “Miller the Killer?”

by

One of the most iconic advertising jingles for New Orleanians was “Miller the Killer … he kills them all.” There was even a bug mascot associated with the advertising campaign.

So whatever happened to Miller the Killer? Founded by Dennis Miller in the early 1950s, the pest control company was sold to an Atlanta company in the 1960s, and Miller’s sons, Denny and Jerry, opened independent companies. Jerry Miller Pest Control has serviced the Northshore for years.

With his love for life, Jerry continues his father’s legacy that focused on strong relationships and personal service, explaining, “Our clients become our friends.”
