Helping Hungry Kids This Holiday

by

Christmas break can be a scary time for children at risk for hunger without access to school breakfasts and lunches. Fuel the Future Foundation seeks to alleviate chronic hunger among school age children in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes.

Partnering with five local schools, it provides nutritious, kid-friendly food items over weekends and holidays to the most vulnerable students. With help from organizations like Joey’s Hope for Hungry Children and businesses like Gulf Coast Bank & Trust, FTFF serves 100-250 children each week.
