Nearly a decade after passing away, secret millionaire John Marque still supports the causes he loved with a fund he named in honor of his parents, the Theresa Bittenbring Marque and John Henry Marque Fund.
Because Marque chose to endow his $20 million legacy at the Greater New Orleans Foundation in 2008, over $7 million has been awarded to various nonprofit organizations. Thanks to GNOF’s investment strategy, gifts from the Marque Fund continue in perpetuity.
