‘Dress Fête’ pays homage to New Orleans Tricentennial

Dress Fête

Canal Place launched its Style Board initiative this year to mentor college-age students interested in fashion – giving them a place to interact with local fashion influencers and engage with the iconic mall while expanding their breadth of knowledge on fashion design, styling and marketing.

In turn, the Style Board members were asked to create an original design in homage to New Orleans’ Tricentennial for a sparkling event to take place Dec. 7. “Dress Fête” will feature a design compilation and display of the Style Board members’ creations, and their designs will remain on display throughout the holiday season.
