Cathy and Morris Bart are honorees for Outstanding Philanthropist.
Morris Bart committed $1,000,000 to Second Harvest’s $15M capital campaign. At the start of the pandemic, Bart committed an additional $25,000 in disaster response. After seeing his commitment to Second Harvest, Bart’s wife, Cathy, joined the Board of Second Harvest Food Bank where she has been integral to fundraising for the $15 Million Capital Campaign.
In addition to Second Harvest, the Barts have made significant gifts to Newman High School, Jewish Community Center, United Way, American Red Cross, UNO Alumni Center, Loyola Law, Country Day, McGehee School and NOPD 2nd District.
