Coming to one of the most social cities on the planet just before a global pandemic and being in philanthropy, whereby my entire professional life depends on meeting new people, is not what anyone signs up for – but I did.
New Orleans surprisingly is a city of its own relationships, two degrees of separation at best for anyone I meet these days. Where’d you go to school (high school, of course) became the most frequently asked question I never expected.
Three years later, I find myself naming New Orleans many unexpected things: most social, most philanthropic and, yes, most connected.
