Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana generously provided funding for this report. The report found that the health sciences sector employs 77,805 people in the Greater New Orleans region and has grown by 27% over the past decade. Furthermore, the industry is projected to grow 17% over the next 10 years.
