This summer, Chalmette Refining will hold its Energy Camps, a way for high school students to learn about the kinds of jobs at a refinery.
The refinery is also working with Nunez Community College’s Career Exploration Program that will run from June 3-27. This program takes high school students inside the world of work by letting them explore jobs in different industries, including aerospace, refining, culinary arts and coastal studies, to name only a few.
Registration is free at Nunez.edu and high schools that would like to participate in Chalmette Refining’s Energy Camps can contact us at chr.smbpa@pbfenergy.com.
