WHIV 102.3 FM celebrates community partners on World AIDS Day

by The 100 Companies

WHIV FM will celebrate eight years of human rights and advocacy programming at its 2022 Community Voice Awards and Anniversary Party.

Held on World AIDS Day, Dec. 1 from 6-9 p.m. at The Shop at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, the event includes a musical performance by Sam Price and the True Believers. Tickets are $20.

Dr. MarkAlain Dery founded WHIV FM on World AIDS Day in 2014, making it New Orleans’ only radio station dedicated to human rights and social justice. Sixty volunteer show hosts offer 55 hours of original content, including Dery’s award-winning Noise Filter program.
