The Geaux Far Louisiana strategic plan retreat was a pivotal moment, as coalition members transitioned from planning to implementation.
At “the last meeting, it was white flip chart paper and markers and ideas, and now we have a book – we have a written plan,” shared Susan Nelson, executive director for the Louisiana Partnership for Children and Families.
As implementation progresses, the strategic plan itself will help build system changes for generations, creating a better future for children, their families and providers. Additionally, the strategic plan allows partners to form legislative proposals yearly to ensure the asks align with the plan.
