New Orleans’ home for HBCU Football

by The 100 Companies

There was a time when trying to catch a Historically Black Colleges and Universities football game on television was next to impossible, but this year, WWLTV is proud to announce it will be carrying 11 games this fall football season on its sister station, WUPL.

HBCU football has always been near and dear to the New Orleans community – and the game isn’t just about football, but also the electricity, hype and history their marching bands bring to gameday, especially during halftime.

Celebrating the tradition and pageantry of the HBCU gameday experience, broadcast coverage will include each matchup’s high-energy halftime show.
