New small businesses open in Jefferson Parish with support from JEDCO loan programs

by The 100 Companies

JEDCO’s flexible and accessible loan programs have become a financing gem for local entrepreneurs. Some of the area’s newest businesses opened their doors with JEDCO’s non-traditional loan options:

Crescent City Ninja Academy: The only dedicated American Ninja Warrior gym in the state celebrated its grand opening late last month in Gretna. JEDCO financed 100% of the project.

McCord Butchery: A new European-style butcher shop came to life with JEDCO funding. The economic development organization financed 80% of the project.

Studio KP: JEDCO financed 40% of this full-service salon in Metairie using the SBA 504 loan program.
