‘Doubt’ exquisitely explores uncertainty and how we each face difficult decisions

by Sally Schroder

In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius (Leslie Nipkow), a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn (David Lind) of improper relations with one of the male students. Joining them onstage are Elizabeth McCoy as Sister James and Queen Shereen Macklin as Mrs. Muller.

“Doubt” won the 2005 Tony Award® for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It runs from May 1-18 at Le Petit Theatre.

“’ Doubt’ is the kind of play that sticks with you long after you leave the theater,” says Artistic Director A.J. Allegra.
